I’m sure this happens to a lot of people: you have an important file on your flash drive and you need to hand it in, print it out, or take it somewhere else. Only problem? You lose your flash drive. It’s happened to me far too many times.
So that’s why I decided to eschew flash drives and emailing stuff to myself and use the power of the internet.
I found Dropbox به, which lets me access my files from anywhere as long as I have an internet connection. I don’t even need a flash drive any more; I can just store everything I need on my Dropbox account.
Dropbox is easy to use: upload files from your computer to your account. You can then log on to your account from any computer and access the files. If you download Dropbox, you can have your Dropbox as a folder on your computer, so you can easily access and manage files in your Dropbox just as if they were in any other folder.
This tutorial video does a pretty good job explaining how Dropbox works and why it’s so great.
You get 2 GB of free space when you sign up. Here’s a bonus, اگر چه: if someone refers you to Dropbox, both you and the referrer get 250 MB free space. I just so happen to have a Dropbox account, so if you decide to sign up you can be referred by me. This way both you and I get 250 MB free space. Pretty neat, متعجب? Sign up using my referral.
